Kayla coordinates with the Bethink team to make sure all client needs are met and every project is advancing on schedule — managing client communications and tickets, translating requests into internal action items, and providing clarity and information to clients in a language you don’t need to read CSS to understand.

Kayla came to Bethink with over a decade of experience leading teams, coordinating project execution, and building relationships. During and after her eight years at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls C.H.I.L.D. Center as Lead Infant Teacher and Student Service Specialist, where she often found herself providing tech support for colleagues and managing communications with customer relationship management software, Kayla took on contract work in the tech space. In her roles as a Data Analyst for Tipton Health Communications, Project Coordinator for Termageddon, and Digital Coordinator The Walt Disney Company, she focused on WordPress website updates, SEO, troubleshooting and quality assurance. 

Along the way, she also gained invaluable experience in workflow design and management, internal communications, and information management — and developed a passion for leveraging tech to solve human problems, and to serve the people who use and need it most.

Kayla has a BS in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education from the University of Wisconsin at River Falls. She lives in Hudson, Wisconsin, with her partner, where she drinks chai tea in the winter and iced mint tea in the summer.
